Heart Bones- Colleen Hoover

Summary: Beyah Grim is finally able to get out of her hometown, where she grew up with poverty and neglect. She got a full ride to go to Penn State. She experienced an unexpected death that leaves her with no where to live, so she is now forced to live with her father that she barely knows and doesn't have much of a relationship with. She meets her next door neighbor, Samson, who she has no patience for, but their connection is so deep it's hard for her to ignore it. They both agreed that since they will be moving to opposite sides of the country, their relationship will just be a summer thing, but they soon realize that is much harder than they thought it would be.  I was surprised at how much I was into this book and how much I liked it, I didn't have high hopes for it considering I hadn't heard much about it. There was so much emotion tied into this book that made it even better. Colleen Hoover did such a good job at really going into detail about each characters li...

Layla- Colleen Hoover

Summary: When Layla and Leeds meet, Leeds believes that he will spend the rest of his life with her, until an unexpected health issue leaves Layla fighting for her life. Layla continues to spend weeks in the hospital, but after she has recovered physically she is left with emotional and mental damage. Leeds decided to take Layla back to where they first met, but Layla's behavior takes a huge turn. Leeds meets Willow at the place he took Layla back to, which they soon find a connection with each other. Leeds realizes he needs to choose between Layla and Willow, but he is scared if he makes the wrong choice it will affect all of them.  Layla and Verity are very similar in the way they were written. I decided to read this one after I heard it was like Verity because Verity is one of my favorites. It kind of took me by surprise because although it is like Verity it is also very different. The storyline definitely kept me hooked to the book but there were some things that were ki...

Regretting You- Colleen Hoover

Summary: Morgan Grant tries very hard to prevent her daughter from making the same mistakes she did growing up. Morgan got married and got pregnant at a very young age, and her daughter Clara doesn't want to follow in her footsteps. Clara and Morgan find it very difficult to get along and be around each other, but the other person that can make it manageable for them is Chris, Morgans husband. This suddenly comes to a halt when Chris is involved in a bad accident. Clara and Morgan both rely on someone else for comfort during this hard time. As time passes new things get brought up that cause the mother and daughter to fall even further apart.  This book gave me all the emotions as I was reading it. It made me happy, mad, sad, etc. I think Colleen Hoover did a great job of describing everything that Morgan had to go through to be there for her daughter even if they didn't have the best relationship. This book wasn't just about romance, but also family issues which I think r...

Hopeless- Colleen Hoover

Summary: Sky meets Dean Holder he senior year of high school and quickly learns that he doesn't have a good reputation. From their first interaction she feels very uneasy around him and kind of scared around him. Dean starts to remind Sky of someone from her past that she is trying very hard to forget. She tries hard to stay away from him but their bond eventually grows. Dean has been keeping secrets from Sky but once she finds them out, she is changed forever. She now has no ability to trust anyone.  Although I say this about almost every Colleen Hoover book I read, this one genuinely is one of my favorites lol. Sometimes I think her books can kind of drag on and there's some unnecessary information, but this one flowed together so easy and every detail was truly important to the storyline. I felt just about every emotion while reading this book, I was instantly hooked from the first chapter. After each chapter I felt like I needed to know more, which made it extremely hard...

November 9- Colleen Hoover

Summary: Fallon and Ben meet each other in LA the day before Fallon plans to move across the country. They spend Fallon's last day in LA together, the eventful life she has becomes the creative imagination Ben has always wanted for his novel. Even though Fallon moves they plan to meet on the same exact day every year. One day Fallon starts to question is Ben has been honest with her or is just using her a plot twist.  I feel like this is one of Colleen Hoover's books that gets overlooked a lot. I never really hear much about it, but it was definitely one of my favorite books. This was her first book that actually made me emotional lol and made me really think and feel what was going on between Ben and Fallon. It definitely had a twist to it but I feel like that is what kept me so engaged into the book. I like how the book was over the course of a few years so we could read about how they were growing up and maturing. This book taught a lot about love, loyalty, growth, forgiv...

Verity-Colleen Hoover

Summary: Lowen is a writer when she decides to take a very big job. Jeremey, who is the husband of a bestselling author Verity, hired Lowen to finish writing books that his wife is no longer able to write because of an injury. When Lowen arrives at their house and starts digging through years of notes from Verity to find information to finish writing these books, she stumbles upon an autobiography that Verity tried to hide from everyone. Lowen doesn't tell Jeremey about the autobiography because she thinks it will make his grieving process even harder. She starts to get feelings for Jeremey, coming to a realization that she should tell him about the autobiography. Jeremey soon realizes that he can no longer love his wife Verity the same.  This is a book I was very hesitant to read because I heard so many mixed reviews about it, but I'm so glad I decided to read it. I read so many reviews saying that this book with a little scary and had a lot of twists and turns it, and alth...

Never Never- Colleen Hoover

Summary: Never Never is about Charlie and Silas who have been best friends their whole lives. They have been in love since they were teens, but ever since this morning they are strangers to each other. Every memory they have with each other, they no longer remember. They are trying to trace back to everything and find out what happened to them. They quickly start to learn more about them as a couple, and quickly ask themselves why they were ever together to begin with.  I have read almost every single one of Colleen Hoover's books and I think this one may be my least favorite. I am usually able to fly through her books and finish them within a few days, but for some reason this one took me awhile to get into. I felt like at some points it was just dragging on and could have gotten to the end faster. This book does really make you think though whether that be about your past, your relationships, etc. Although this was my least favorite it wasn't terrible and I have heard of a ...
